Greta Burgess, Class of 2021

About

Greta Burgess (née Pisarczyk) is the founder of Willowstone Consulting, a firm which specializes in fundraising for Republican candidates and conservative organizations. Greta’s extensive experience spans nationwide campaigns, state-level politics, and policy advocacy. She has a proven track record developing and executing successful strategies to win donors’ investments and exceed fundraising goals.

Her expertise shines in her recent roles leading the finance operations for America Strong and Free Action (Super PAC), Asa for America, Team Asa, and America Strong and Free (501 (c)(4)). Prior to joining Governor Asa Hutchinson’s presidential bid, Greta served as Finance Director for a top-tier gubernatorial campaign and as a consultant for numerous targeted Congressional contests.

Greta previously served as Finance Director of the GOPAC Election Fund, an angel investor working to elect the rising generation of federal and state Republican leaders. In the 2020 election cycle, GOPAC and its affiliated organizations invested $11.7 million through direct candidate contributions, legislative campaign committees, independent expenditures, and public opinion research. She cut her teeth at the Cato Institute, where she spearheaded corporate and foundation relations.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Greta is a member of the Junior League of Washington (JLW) and in 2018 served as Co-Chair of “A Capital Collection of Holiday Shops”—the League’s signature winter fundraiser. Her leadership and vision earned her the MavPAC Future 40 award in 2021, spotlighting her as a rising star among young conservatives.

A native Michigander, Greta holds a B.A. in English Language & Literature from the University of Michigan and is a graduate of Interlochen Arts Academy. She resides in Washington, D.C. and Naples, FL with her husband, Robert, and their newborn son.

Future Plans

The current election cycle presents many new challenges—broadly speaking for our party, as well as individually for candidates. The most powerful campaigns will be resilient, solutions-oriented, and data-driven. My foremost goal is to assist conservative candidates in charting a path toward victory based upon authentic engagement, teamwork, and relentless optimism.

What makes Maverick PAC special?

Maverick PAC is distinguished by the quality of its events and membership. There is no other membership-based organization that offers opportunities to cultivate a personal professional network and interact with rising leaders like MAVCON and Future40. However, what I’ve found most special—and valuable—about MavPAC is its diverse and highly-talented membership base. In an increasingly contentious political environment, MavPAC’s members are focused, informed, and mutually respectful. I’ve found among them both colleagues and friends.

Fun Fact

I reconnected with my now husband at a MavPAC event.
