Melissa Marovich

Melissa Marovich is a Customer Success Manager at Carta, a San Francisco-based technology company that specializes in capitalization table management and valuation software. Her clients are within the middle market sector. Prior to joining Carta, Melissa was a Licensing & Sales Manager at a leading branding software company, and her clients included companies all across the Global 2000 List down to small private companies within the financial services, retail, publishing, media, government, and education sectors selling multiple software product lines on a perpetual & renewal basis.

Melissa was born and raised in Pennsylvania and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Public Relations and Economics with a minor in Political Science from The Pennsylvania State University. For three years, she served on three different committees for Penn State’s IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon, commonly known as THON, which is a three-day Dance Marathon with the intent of raising money for children’s cancer & research. She was also a member of Penn State’s College Republicans.

For a total of 6 consecutive years, Melissa served on the board of The New York Young Republican Club, the oldest Young Republican club in the United States. She served as President from 2016 to 2018, Vice President from 2015 to 2016, Secretary from 2013 to 2015, and Membership Chair from 2012 to 2013. During her tenure, Melissa hosted multiple speakers, including Ed Rollins, Heather MacDonald, Anthony Scaramucci, Brian Kilmeade, Kimberly Guilfoyle, Congressman Lee Zeldin, and James Taranto.

Melissa is also a member of the Manhattan Institute’s Young Leaders Circle, an under 40 arm of the Manhattan Institute, which provides New York’s young professionals with a direct public forum to discuss free market policy, culture, and public affairs.

Melissa lives in Manhattan’s Upper East Side and enjoys running in full & half marathons across the country and has an interest in modern & contemporary art.
