Emily Jacobs

Emily Jacobs is a principal at Squire Patton Boggs and represents clients on matters related to transportation, healthcare, energy efficiency, environment and natural resources, federal appropriations, immigration, education and homeland security. She specializes in strategy development and implementation, securing federal funding, and the monitoring of federal legislation. Emily also works with coalitions and organizations to advocate for Congressional action or to revise and promote broad national policy.

Prior to joining Squire Patton Boggs Public Advocacy, Emily spent five years as a partner at a government relations firm in Washington, DC. Emily also served as a staff member for a former Senator and Congressman from Florida. Her work in Congress included managing appropriation requests, developing legislative strategy in conjunction with outside groups and their constituencies on an array of issues, in addition to preparing talking points, drafting testimony and legislation.

Emily was honored with the “MavPAC 40 Under 40” award in the Political Category by Maverick PAC at their annual conference.
