Christopher Malagisi

In nearly two decades of work in the conservative movement and Republican politics, Christopher Malagisi has distinguished himself as an industry leader and one of the country’s most valuable and go-to external relations experts.  Malagisi is currently Executive Director of Outreach for Hillsdale College | Washington, D.C., Campus, where he builds and cultivates strategic alliances and outreach efforts with key institutions, organizations, and leaders nationwide to advance the educational mission of Hillsdale College.  He is also responsible for marketing, communications, and recruitment for their Van Andel Graduate School of Government, located on Capitol Hill – which he’d been instrumental in its development and successful launch in 2019.  

Previously, he was CPAC Director and Director of External Relations for the American Conservative Union, where he was responsible for organizing the country’s largest and most influential annual conservative gathering.  Due to his efforts, BizBash awarded CPAC one of the country’s best and most important political events of the year, and Campaigns & Elections Magazine named Malagisi a “DC Mover & Shaker.”  

Malagisi also served as Editor in Chief of the Conservative Book Club (Salem Media Group) and previously trained over 5,000 candidates and activists as The Leadership Institute’s Director of Political & New Media Training.  He also taught History of the Conservative Movement and Campaigns & Political Activism as an Adjunct Instructor at his alma mater. 

Additionally, he was Founder and President of the Young Conservatives Coalition (YCC), which served as an influential coalition and professional networking organization for young adult professionals in Washington, D.C. from 2009-2017, and originally launched the annual Buckley Awards and Reaganpalooza events.  He also served in leadership positions on five US Republican presidential campaigns leading various national youth and young adult outreach efforts from 2004-2016. 

He currently serves as Co-Chair of the Conservative External Relations Professionals (CERP) association, and was a MavPAC Future 40 (Under 40) recipient in 2021.
