Kellen Curry

Kellen Curry is a candidate for New York's 3rd Congressional District. In his campaign, Kellen has focused on core issues including national defense in the face of rising global threats, economic insecurity due to persistently high inflation, increasing affordability on Long Island and raising the accountability bar in D.C. through ethics reforms. Kellen can be seen in both national and local media interviews, including a debate with MSNBC's Jonathan Capehart on live television. Kellen's campaign is built on restoring honest leadership in NY-3, and embracing core conservative viewpoints such as strong national security, lower taxes, limited government, and free market enterprise.

Kellen is a former Vice President at J.P. Morgan's Corporate and Investment Banking Division in New York City where he authored award winning investment research and advised institutional fund managers and clients on stock selections in the industrial economy. He is a respected industry leader in New York, and was instrumental in developing capital allocation strategies and financial market models leading to attractive stock market returns.

Prior to this position, Kellen was an active duty Air Force officer supporting weapon systems procurement and minority owned small businesses. Kellen deployed to Kabul Afghanistan twice supporting the Afghanistan business sector and special operations aviation unit for the Afghanistan Air Force. Kellen continues to serve the country as Air Force reservist managing Small Business Innovation Research initiatives.

Kellen graduated from the United States Air Force Academy with a B.S. in Pre-Law and served as captain of the track team. Kellen obtained his Masters in Business Administration from George Washington University, and is currently a graduate student at Columbia University. In his free time, Kellen has been a volunteer in youth sports, and a mentor to youth in the foster care system, Big Brothers Big Sisters of America and Positive Coach Alliance, a non-profit organization which strives to create a positive youth sports environment in communities across the country.
