Sarah is communications director for The ONE Campaign, an advocacy organization dedicated to ending extreme poverty and preventable disease, particularly in Africa. Previous to ONE, Sarah spent a decade on Capitol Hill, managing media affairs and foreign dignitary events for Speakers Paul Ryan and John Boehner where she oversaw over 100 major media interviews and served as the media lead for the historic visit of Pope Francis.
Sarah also spent six years as a spokesperson for the Ways and Means Committee working on tax reform, health care, and international trade issues. During her time at the public relations firm Edelman, she prepared executives from Fortune 100 companies for interviews and provided crisis management counsel for CEOs across the country.
Sarah grew up in Alexandria, Virginia and graduated from James Madison University.
