AUSTIN, Texas – The Maverick PAC today launched its new website as part of a continuing effort to promote the organization’s conservative principles and provide its members an online forum to engage with the organization.
“The new website will enable MAV PAC to continue engaging young conservatives in an important cause, especially as elections approach in November that will be critical to Texas and to our nation," said MAV PAC co-Chair George P. Bush.
The Maverick PAC is a Federal political action committee comprised of next-generation Republicans, generally under the age of 45. MAV PAC members commit their time, talents, and money to promote conservative principles of personal and fiscal responsibility in public service.
The 2010 MAV PAC Chairmen are George P. Bush of Fort Worth, Tom O. Turner of San Antonio, and Jay S. Zeidman of Houston. Immediate Past Chairmen are James Lee of Houston and Bryan Pickens of Dallas.
MAV PAC has three main purposes:
- To promote the interests of the Republican Party in Texas and nationally;
- To support the election of Republican candidates (incumbents and new candidates) to Texas State offices and National offices representing the State of Texas and to support the election of Republican candidates from outside Texas to National elected office;
- To advocate the involvement of members in federal and state governments.
