Matt Mackowiak is President of Potomac Strategy Group, LLC, an Austin, TX and Washington, DC-based consultancy specializing in political campaign management and corporate communications and public relations. He has helped elect three members of Congress and flipped a Democratic State Senate seat in Texas in 2018. Matt also serves as Chairman of the Travis County GOP.
Matt is a weekly columnist for The Washington Times and hosts a weekly "Mack on Politics" podcast where he interviews newsmakers. He serves on the Boards of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (Austin chapter), the Austin Community College (ACC) Center for Public Policy and Political Studies (CPPPS), the national Veterans nonprofit Luke's Wings and the Texas Cowboys.
He and his wife Suzanne live in the Northwest Hills neighborhood of Austin and they have three spoiled dogs.
