Gail Wilson is an avid social innovator and advocate for women’s empowerment. In 2015, Gail joined the International Republican Institute (IRI) as a Senior Program Associate with Women’s Democracy Network (WDN) which promotes women’s inclusion in the political and civic process. In her portfolio, Gail spearheaded a women’s economic empowerment initiative where she manages global projects focused on women’s political and economic empowerment. She also oversees the WDN Latin America and Caribbean network which brings together women leaders across sectors to address challenges and opportunities for women’s political and civic engagement in the region.
Prior to IRI, Gail was a legislative fellow in the office of Congresswoman Candice Miller and also worked on Governor Greg Abbott’s campaign where she led grassroots efforts in Dallas and Tarrant County in Texas.
Gail serves on the Board of Directors of LiberiaConnects, a social enterprise, which engages Liberians and Liberian diaspora with emerging markets across the globe.
