Juan Carlos “JC” Flores serves as Vice President Governmental Affairs and Policy for AT&T Florida, overseeing the company’s state legislative and policy agenda. He is Florida’s Chief Lobbyist and responsible for managing and implementing AT&T’s political and legislative strategy at the legislative and executive branch. Mr. Flores most recently served as Regional Director of External Affairs at AT&T Florida, serving a region including Miami-Dade and Monroe County. He was responsible for managing AT&T’s local relationships and influencing local government rules and policy in order to advance growth in infrastructure and technology.
Prior to joining AT&T, Mr. Flores served as Special Assistant to Speaker of the Florida House of Representatives Marco Rubio at the Republican Party of Florida, Miami-Dade Field Director for Rudy Giuliani’s 2008 Presidential Campaign, Director of Communications for Miami-Dade Commissioner Carlos Gimenez and then managed the Carlos Gimenez for Mayor Campaign to victory in 2011. Mr. Flores serves as a Board member of Volunteer Florida, Associated Industries of Florida, the Governors Club, Florida Technology Council, as well as serving as an advisory Board member to the Florida International School of International and Public Affairs.
Mr. Flores is married to Lissette Marie Flores and they have a four year old daughter Audrey Rose Flores. Mr. Flores graduated from Florida International University where he majored in Political Science.
