Emily Brewer has spent a lifetime in the Western Tidewater region and has a heart for community service and helping others.
Emily currently serves on the Broadband Advisory Council, the Commission on Youth, and the Virginia Disability Commission. Emily is a small business owner who was first elected to the House of Delegates in November of 2017 and, at 33, is the youngest Republican woman ever elected to the 400-year-old Virginia House of Delegates. She was selected to serve on the House
committees on Finance, Science & Technology, and Militia, Police & Public Safety. As a freshman, Emily established the Virginia Wine Caucus to bring legislators together, in a bipartisan manner, to discuss issues relating to agriculture, tourism and alcoholic beverage regulations. Additionally, Emily serves as a founding member of Virginia’s chapter of the State Future Caucus whose goal it is to craft bipartisan solutions on issues facing future generations.
Emily currently serves the 64th District in the House of Delegates. The 64th District includes parts of the counties of Isle of Wight, Prince George, Southampton, Surry, and Sussex and parts of the cities of Franklin and Suffolk.
