Andria completed a BA & MA in Music Education through multiple academic and leadership scholarships. In 2011, she established a non-profit that donates music instruments to students in the Pacific. She also taught music at Leeward Community College from 2011-2014.

She is currently finishing her PhD at the University of Hawaii in music education.

Andria also loves sports and running. She lost a dramatic 100 pounds, and now she inspires others to achieve their fitness goals.

Andria was first elected into the house of representatives in 2014 on her very first run for office. She rallied the support of community members by knocking doors, holding meetings, speaking at schools, and organizing events. She was elected in 2014 by 56% unseating the only incumbent in the general election. Andria served as the minority floor leader her first year as a Freshman legislator. She also was a member or the Health, Higher Education, Education, Labor, Public Safety, and Transportation committees of the State House Legislature.

Andria was re-elected in 2016 by 67% and named the minority leader in 2017.
