Nevada Attorney General Adam Laxalt took office January 5, 2015, the youngest AG in the country at the time.

A former U.S. Navy lieutenant, he was trained as a prosecutor and legal advisor, assisting with the detention and prosecution of thousands of war criminals and terrorists while serving in Iraq.

Laxalt has taken a bold, results-driven approach to his work as AG, taking action to help members of Nevada’s military community, protect the state’s most vulnerable citizens from fraud and abuse, and defend the principles of federalism.

His efforts have drawn attention and praise nationally, with National Review calling him a “conservative champion” and a “star in the making.”
