The Dallas Chapter of Maverick PAC was created in 2010 and has given members and friends access to leaders such as T. Boone Pickens, Governor Bobby Jindal, Governor Tim Pawlenty, Governor Rick Perry, Roger Williams, and Mayor Tom Leppert.

Derrek Anduiza

Derrek Anduiza is an Account Executive for Flagstar Bank FSB since 2006, as an industry leader he has earned recognition through residential and commercial lending with special focus on innovative technology, and product development.
Derrek serves as Co-Chairman of Maverick PAC-Dallas and Committee member of Young Professionals for Mitt Romney and Governor Perry. He is also the Treasurer of the Dallas Executive Club, which is a philanthropic organization who serves non-profit and business communities throughout the metro area.
He graduated from Texas Tech with a B.A. in Communication Studies in 2005, and is currently earning an Executive MBA from Texas Tech.
Billy Bailey

Billy Bailey joined BP Capital Management in 2009 as an equity analyst and a member of the investment committee. Mr. Bailey’s primary role is identifying and understanding global risks and trends that shape both energy equities and commodities.
Mr. Bailey is active in both Texas and Presidential Politics as an Emerging Leader for Governor Perry’s Presidential Race, Chairman of Maverick PAC – Dallas, & former Chairman of Young Professionals for Governor Perry.
He graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science in Commerce and Business Administration degree in Finance from The University of Alabama in May of 2009.
Edward Bogel

Edward Bogel joined Belterra Energy in 2011 as an Associate. In this capacity, Bogel works alongside the firm’s partners in aggressively developing and marketing the company’s vertically-integrated sugar cane-based ethanol production project in Central America. Previously, Bogel was with Altschuler and Company, a real estate advisory services firm in Dallas, where he received D CEO’s prestigious Power Broker award recognizing his outstanding 2010 production.
Edward is active in many organizations throughout Texas. He is Chairman of Maverick PAC – Dallas, a member of the Episcopal School of Dallas Annual Fund Committee, Secretary of Idlewild Club, member of Calyx Club, and an Emerging Leader for Governor Perry’s presidential race.
Edward is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a degree in Agribusiness.
Heath Cheek

Heath Cheek is a Complex Commercial Litigation Attorney for Bell Nunnally & Martin LLP, focused on representing private equity, banking, energy, and real estate companies in litigation matters. Heath graduated from Texas Tech University, magna cum laude with honors, and from Baylor Law School as Executive Editor of the Baylor Law Review and member of the Baylor Moot Court Team. In addition to Maverick PAC, Heath serves or has served as Chairman of the NFL On Location Action Team for the North Texas Super Bowl XLV Host Committee, Chairman of the State Fair of Texas Raffle Committee, President of the Texas Tech Alumni Association – Dallas Chapter, and Membership Chairman for the Dallas Museum of Art Junior Associates. Heath and his wife are members of Highland Park United Methodist Church.
Anna Lee

Anna Lee graduated from Southern Methodist University with a B.A. in History, Political Science, and Italian Area Studies in 2008. She has worked in Washington, DC under Senator Saxby Chambliss of GA and the Social Secretary to the Vice President under the Bush Cheney Administration. In 2010, Anna began working with the Republican National Committee in Palm Springs, CA for the campaigns of Meg Whitman, Carly Fiorina, and Mary Bono Mack. After the 2010 Midterm elections, she moved back to Dallas, TX to begin her role, as an Admissions Counselor for Southern Methodist University. In addition to her work at SMU, she also serves on leadership for the Dallas Chapter of Mav Pac, Brighter Dallas, and Young Leaders in Education.
Nathan Nash

Nathan Nash works as a development associate for a Dallas based commercial real estate development company, Hunter Equity. Prior to joining the team at Hunter, he worked as a civil engineer focused primarily on land development. He holds an MBA from Southern Methodist University and a BS in Civil Engineering from Texas Tech University, where he also served as Student Body President. Nathan is a member of the Preston Road Church of Christ in Dallas.
