Ben Proler

Board member since 2017

Ben Proler joined Shell Oil Company in 2013. He has since optimized a comprehensive portfolio of physical commodity products including motor gasoline, diesel, and jet fuel. Ben’s responsibilities today encompass all phases of Shell’s jet fuel supply chain management, beginning with the strategy and planning phase and continuing through contract negotiation, coordination of logistics, and process improvement. He has previously worked previously for Caterpillar Oil & Gas, Jones Lang LaSalle, and Southern Core Recycling.


In March of 2015, Ben began volunteering for Senator Marco Rubio’s campaign for President. He founded the New Century: All-Americans, which was an effort to identify, engage, and mobilize young professionals from around the country in support of Senator Rubio. The effort raised over a million dollars for the campaign and engaged thousands of young professional volunteers in over thirty states.


Ben is also active an active board member in following organizations: Houston Committee on Foreign Relations, Chairman of the Holocaust Museum Houston’s NextGen & Museum Board Member, National Young Professional Leadership for Israel Bonds, Houston District C Appointed Board Member to the Houston Clean City Commission, and a Member of the Republican Jewish Coalition. 


In October 2017, Ben will be commissioned as an officer in the U.S. Navy Reserve. He holds a B.A. in Marketing from the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin.
